Silvertone Dauphine hands and Movado's iconic concave dot marker highlight the simple round dial, which represents a modern interpretation of the classic Museum dial made famous for Movado by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt intended his minimalist design to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The dial is set in a solid steel case and presents on a slender silver-tone bangle bracelet that fastens with a jewelry clasp. Handle with care
Bought this for my wife and it's a beautiful looking watch. However, it does scratch easily. I recommend removing the links to fit your wrist snug to keep it from dangling and reduce the chances of scratching it.


Excellent value
I originally found this watch at a Sam's Club just before Christmas as a gift for my wife, but it was rather pricey. I bought it anyway and later found Amazon to have the best price for it anywhere, (over 0 less than Sam's) so I returned the Sam's Club watch and bought through Amazon. The watch came in 3 days, just in time for Christmas, and my wife loves it. It's one of the more unique styles I've seen and Movado quality seems excellent. We had to have a jeweler take out three links to fit just right, but no problems. Thanks, Amazon!


Great Watch, Great Price -- Recipient Loves Me More Now!!
This is a beautiful watch that I decided to get for my girlfriend for Christmas. I was looking for something simple, yet classy and I found it here with this Movado. My girlfriend loves the color pink, so this watch really worked out well for her. Also, she has tiny wrists and I was initially worried that it wouldn't end up fitting her -- however for at the jewelry store, they took out a few links (with some leftover) and it looks great on her and fits her perfectly. She has received many compliments on it and she really seems to love it herself. I couldn't have been happier with the product, price and overall Amazon experience.

The item is great, but . . . . .
The item was duly shipped and exactly as advertised. I am happy with it.

However, the warranty card was not endorsed by Amazon, leaving me with the possibility that Movado's 2-year warranty would not be available to me. Since Amazon's 30-day return policy was exhausted by the shipment's transit time, it appears that I am now be without any warranty whatsoever.

So I sent a query to Amazon almost one week ago - and to date have had no response or acknowledgment. This is making me kind of nervous. I have done quite a bit of business with Amazon, and have developed a measure of confidence in the company - a factor in making this most recent 0 purchase - the largest yet.

The possibility that Amazon may be playing the same "try and find me" game that is true of many online vendors is scary, to say the least. And if true would certainly make me think twice about future purchases from their website, regardless of the value of the item. Even eBay facilitates communication between buyer and seller, something I presumed would be equally true of Amazon. Was I in error?

I truly hope the fears I have expressed are groundless and that this coming week will bring a response and some assurance about the warranty.
When (and if!!!) this happens I will be pleased to post a follow-up comment.

And I just had another scary thought . . will this review be processed by a computer with no programmed interest in Amazon's role - even when Amazon is the seller? Well, we'll see.
