Very Poor Quality
I received these earrings for Christmas and my boyfriend was so excited to give them to me. One of them is wonderful (great clarity and cut) while the other one has a huge black speck in the dead center which completely destroys the quality making it look like a shattered piece of glass. I feel so badly because he is so disappointed and I'm afraid his Christmas is ruined! Amazon claims to carefully inspect all items for quality. I can't understand how they'd try to pass this off with the clarity level/rating they claimed it had! At least be honest avbout the quality. These are being returned ASAP! Lesson learned...never buy jewelry online!

Cheap, but full of black specks.
I thought these stones were fine until I compared them with the equivalently rated stones at several local jewlers. These diamonds were loaded with black specs, like 15-20. The diamonds at my local jewlers' stores contained only two or three black specs visible under a microscope and barely visible with the naked eye. I returned these and bought some from Kay's. They were about 25% more, but the difference was huge. Much more sparkle.

Girlfriend Loves 'em!
Diamonds are naturally occurring stones. That means all of them are different, some more yellow than others and some have minor imperfections. However, these were white, and clear to my untrained eye. I thought these were a bit small for 1/2 carat, but my girlfriend just loves them (and they seem larger on the ear than in the box) and that is what really matters. These are a good value and with Amazon's lenient return policy, I thought "How could I go wrong?" One minor gripe: the backings were too loose and fell off while she was wearing them. Luckily she was able to find the earring in the house, but we had to go and buy new backings (couldn't find them) at the local jewelry store. Amazon [are you listening] should do a better job of ensuring tight fitting backings because they come in different sizes and she would have been really upset if they got lost!

Diamond Earrings
I bought 2 pair of 1/2 carat diamond earrings in the middle of December and they are very nice. Then I bought 2 pair of 1/2 carat diamond earrings in the end of December and they are very POOR quality. Very cloudy and I'm not impressed.....

This is the 3rd review I'm giving. I'll keep it simple. With these earrings you are spared on the packaging as they arrive in a poor box and poor bag. Get past this and the diamonds appear fine without any bad marks and with a good sparkle. Without really knowing what I'm looking at I think they are nice and look very good on my lady. In hindsight I probably should have gotten a bigger stone or more expensive setting. The back of the earrings get loose and may fall off.

Color not what I expected
I was extremely disappointed in the color of the diamonds. There was a very distinct yellow color, not the "near colorless" I expected from an I-J diamond. As mentioned in other reviews, they are pretty lackluster. The good part is that they were very inexpensive so I didn't waste too much money. I guess you get what you pay for.

Nice!
Nice little earrings! Look smaller than what's in the picture, but that was what I expected. Diamonds look VERY NICE for size and grade. Were a little dirty, but easily cleaned. Setting is a little smaller and more delicate than I expected, but acceptable. Would have liked a different way of packaging, not blue bag. Earrings were stuck one through the loop of the others clasp, then in bag, which slightly bent and scratched post and clasp, but you can't tell when wearing. Clasps don't fit real tight, possibly because of being slightly bent due to method of packaging. Easily fixed, but annoying. I bought these on a good promotional deal, very good price; don't think I would have been quite as happy if I paid full price of 0.00. Nice everyday earrings!

Was unsure at first..
I bought these for my girlfriend during the sale and the price was GREAT. I was unsure about purchasing at first after reading the other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They came in a navy blue box (the kind you get at stores)- not a bag. With the naked eye these look great and sparkle wonderfully. Initially one looked a little dull but it was just dirty (odd) but I wiped it with my shirt (high tech, you know) and it cleaned right off to a brilliant sparkle. The backings worked just fine they weren't too loose. I think Amazon has stepped up their game in this department. 1/3 cttw looks healthy and is not too small or obnoxiously large on her ears. They're great for everyday use and priced right. You don't need to buy high clarity diamonds in this size (I1-I2/I-J is perfect) and no one will be able to tell the difference without a examining them professionally. These were nearly half the price and larger than previously purchased store earrings and I'm completely satisfied.

Not what I was expecting
I received a few great buys from Amazon on jewelry, but these earrings didn't measure up to what I was expecting. The best way to describe the earrings I received is that they are dull. There is no glimmer in them whatsoever. Being fairly inexpensive, I thought they'd at least have a little life in them, but they don't. I'd have been better off with CZs.

Pretty little diamonds
I bought these for my daughter to replace a pair she had lost. The price was good and the earrings are beautiful on her ears.
