Love them but...
I Absolutely love these boots! the shoe part fits, but my calves are too large, so I decided that I will take them to the shoemaker(repair guy) and see if they can add an insert or something, and if this doesn't work I will have to give them to a smaller calf person; the deal was too good to send back.:)

Awesome looking but really uncomfortable
This shoes looks marvelous in person, but I assumed that I would get exquisite comfort based on the price. Sadly, I was wrong - the shoe is incredibly uncomfortable on the footbed and around the ankle. I have relatively small calves and the boot just barely zips up.

Timeless quality
These boots are well-made and fit wonderfully. They run a bit large, so order a half-size down.

Half price
They look even better in person. Girlfriend loved them and they were half the price from several other stores.

Awesome boot
Love these boots. Not sure they would be for any city girl, but they work for me. Leather upper is amazing-hoping the foot and heal hold out well as I am not sure that they are made as well as the upper. I love the milatary button styling-the price held me back for a while but the looks sucked me in. I love them-can dress them up and dress them down.

Best boots ever
I have had these boots for 5 years now (I have them in both black and brown) and they still fit and feel great. I have had them each resoled once. The leather is soft but durable, and wears well. They sort of have a cowboy rugged feel, but still enough style to wear them with a skirt. I read the review about the wide calf area. I didn't find this at all (I don't think I have big calves (I weigh 120) but who knows. I find they are one of the few boots that fit well under a tighter boot cut jean. They are not "snug" around the calf, but the boots don't "show" or "snag" (meaning there is enough room to wear under (not tucked in) a pair of jeans (or at least the ones I wear). I still get compliments on these kickers. Gotta love that. FRYE makes a great shoe.

Too Big
I loved these boots. I loved the look, I loved the color. Unfortunately I had to return them because they were so big around my calves that they made a slapping noise as I walked. Bummer.

Great Boot!
These boots are fantastic! Well made, great looking and will last a lifetime! I get compliments on them wherever I go. They are great with shorts, skirts & jeans! They are pretty true to size.

I bought my first pair of Fryes in 1989 -- i still wear them sometimes.
These boots are super comfy. Soon after I bought them I spent four hours walking around town. No blisters, no problems. I wear them all the time -- except in the heat of summer.
